Professional talks / workshops
In these workshops, professionals learn about the latest research on causation, medical and alternative treatments, practical methods of psychological and behavioral assessment, and effective, individualized treatment strategies. Using Dr. Friedberg’s mind/body approach of cognitive, behavioral, and experiential interventions, clinicians can offer realistic hope for substantial improvement to individuals with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chemical sensitivity, and related illnesses.
Patient talks / workshops
Patient presentations are intended to help individuals with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chemical sensitivity, and related illnesses understand the lifestyle and stress factors that contribute to illness severity and persistence. Once these factors are identified, Dr. Friedberg shows participants how to achieve a healthy balance between activity, rest, and leisure. As a result, pain and fatigue will lessen, and energy levels will increase. With these new lifestyle practices, participants can achieve significant illness improvements.
